1: Are you a licensed by the State of Illinois as a Home Service Agency?
YES, Pinnacle Homecare is a licensed Home Service Agency with the Illinois Department of Public Health, meeting the State’s requirements for homecare agencies.
2: Are you a locally owned company or part of a large corporate healthcare system?
Pinnacle Homecare is proud to be a locally owned and operated company. Our Illinois Home Care agency caters to the geriatric care needs of Illinois residents.
3: Do you offer hourly, overnight and live-in care?
YES, Pinnacle Homecare offers customized packages to meet the individual needs of each client. From hourly rates to reduced flat rates for live-in services.
4: What does your personnel screening process entail?
All caregivers are thoroughly screened and credentialed prior to being considered for employment. Professional, personal and educational references are checked. Criminal background checks are completed. Competency exams and evaluations are also completed. And citizenship documentation is required.
5: Is an initial assessment completed prior to starting services?
YES, a Pinnacle representative will come out to the home to complete an assessment. Feedback during this assessment will provide an outline of the caregiver’s responsibilities when she arrives for the assignment.
6: Do you schedule the same caregiver for each visit?
Yes, to ensure continuity of care, we schedule the same caregiver for each visit.
7: Can I change my caregiver?
Yes, you can request a change of caregiver anytime.
8: Do I need to sign a contract?
Upon completion of the initial assessment, if you decide to utilize Pinnacle Homecare, we will clearly outline the scope of services in a service agreement. This agreement ensures that everyone involved has a clear understanding of the care we will provide.
9: Are the terms of your agreement long-term or flexible?
There is no long-term commitment required with Pinnacle Homecare. We only require a 48 hour cancelation notice for any changes or cancellations.
10: How often do you bill for your service?
Billing is done every two weeks for the previous two weeks of service. All invoices are itemized by date and time of service ensuring that you only pay for services already rendered.
